The video detailing the principles of HRPDC’s regional strategic planning initiative, ENVISION Hampton Roads, took Second Place in the video programs category of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America 2016 Pinnacle Awards. The second place award was one of four the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission received at the PRSA Annual Awards Luncheon on June 8, 2016 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
Public relations professionals from PRSA's Central Michigan chapter judged the entries from the Hampton Roads Chapter.
"This was a nice way to communicate with the target audience about the results of the community listening sessions," said one of the Michigan judges in their provided feedback. "Without a budget, it's difficult to make a catchy, flashy video, but this was done well in-house."
